It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the 2nd International Secondary Lead Conference which will be held immediately prior to the 14 Asian Battery Conference in Hyderabad, India 12 & 13 September 2011.
The Conference will build on the outcomes gained from the very well attended and successful first Conference held in Macau, September 2009.
The lead industry is focused on recycling with over 65% of the world’s lead supply coming from secondary sources. The aim of this Conference is to share and increase knowledge over all segments of this vital industry.
This conference will bring together all aspects of secondary lead smelting; discussing plant design, smelting regimes, refractories, burner design, slag formation and structures, pollution and environmental control amongst other presentations. It is the conference aim to open up all aspects of plant operations and control as to give not only operators, but people interested in secondary smelting a better understanding of the processes involved in the industry.
